Opening Hours

Monday – Friday – 17:30-21:30 (School holidays 9:00-21:30)

Saturday – 9:00-16:00 (School holidays 9:00-16:00)

Sunday – 9:30-15:30 (School holidays 9:30-15:30)

 

Discounts Available

Junior club discount - A 15% discount on the above prices. All participants (except the coaches) have to be under the age of 18 years old. They must also be a non-profit making organisation.

Partner club discounts - A 25% discount on the above prices. These clubs must work in partnership with the school to develop their sport within the school and community. They are expected to provide a clear and inclusive pathway from schools to joining the club, be club marked (or working towards achieving club mark) and organise tournaments and leagues at the school. They must also be a non-profit making organisation.

Coach education discounts - up to 50% discounts are available if the course is open to members from the community. They must also be a non-profit making organisation.

Bulk discounts – 25% discount available to clubs using the school facilities for more than 5 consecutive hours in a single day. This discount is not available for bookings during additional hours, school or bank holidays. They must also be a non-profit making organisation.

No discounts are available to bookings during school holidays or during additional hours. To make additional hours booking a minimum period of 5 hours must be booked and caretaking staff must be available.

Payment Procedures

All bookings will be required to pay for their facilities in advance; if you fail to do this the facilities will not be available for your use and long term you will lose your booking. Cheques must be made payable to “Caterham High School”.

Cancellations Policy

Cancellations by the hirer must be made in writing to the Community Facilities Manager.

  • Booking cancelled by the hirer with 11 or more working day’s notice – Full refund
  • Booking cancelled by the hirer with between 5-10 working days’ notice – 50% refund
  • Booking cancelled by the hirer with less than 5 working days’ notice – No refund
  • No refund will be given for cancellation of sessions by the user due to inclement weather unless in the opinion of the caretaker or duty manager the facility is unfit for use.

The school reserves the right to cancel any hire without notice. If the facility is withdrawn by the school a full refund shall be made. However every effort shall be made to give reasonable notice to the hirer, and whenever possible, alternative facilities shall be offered.
