Welcome to the Sixth Form
The School puts the students at the heart of its inclusive ethos. All adults know the students very well and the level of care for individual students, including in the sixth form, is high — Ofsted
Aiming High
Welcome to the Sixth Form at Caterham High school, which provides the opportunity for academic success in a warm and friendly environment where we strive to get the best from every student. With a wide range of courses, high teaching standards and exceptional pastoral care, we attract students not only from the local area but also from neighbouring boroughs.
We expect our sixth formers to adopt a mature and independent approach to their studies, aiming for the highest levels of achievement. With the help of our dedicated staff, they develop the skills that will prove invaluable at university and in the workplace: confidence, ambition and perseverance. As a result, many gain places at the university of their choice or progress into their desired employment. We have particular success in helping our student achieve Unconditional Offers from their Universities.
Achieving Success
Through a broad range of courses at AS, A2 and Vocational Level 3, our post-16 curriculum is designed to excite and challenge students.
We work closely with outside partners to provide our students with wide range opportunities to develop their employment skills, including work experience.
Care and Wellbeing
With our inclusive ethos underpinning life at Caterham, care for students’ progress and wellbeing continues into the sixth form. We ensure that the sixth form is a happy, supportive environment for the students to reach their full potential.
