Re: Open Evening arrangements Thursday 25th September 2025  

 

On Thursday 25th September 2025, Caterham High School will be holding its annual Open Evening for prospective parents of Year 5 and 6 children.  

In order to allow staff to prepare their departmental areas for this important event, the school will end at 12.10pm on Thursday 25th September. There will be no lunch time, lesson 5 or 6 on this day.  

Students who usually receive a free school meal should purchase food for lunch during morning break. 

Students who have been invited to support in departments or to be Tour Guides for our visitors will receive a separate letter with details of arrangements. If your child does not have a letter they need to stay at home once they have left school at 12.10am on Thursday 25th September.  

On Friday 26th September students should arrive at school at 10am to go to Lesson 3 which will start at 10.10am as normal. This is a Week B timetable. 

If you are aware of families with children in Year 6 who might like to visit the school, please direct them to our website for details.
